Chinese Language Courses:

This course is aimed at people from all walks of life and provides language training courses at all levels from primary to advanced Chinese. There are 3 levels of courses available:


Level1: Monday and Wednesday 18:00-19:30

The participants are expected to understand and use of Chinese pronunciation system (Pinyin); have a basic understanding of Chinese language and its structure; perform basic greetings and expressions for daily communication; acquire a sense of China’s contemporary culture; recognize and write up to 100 Chinese characters.

Cost: 200 euro / 48 hours (twice per week)

Level2: Tuesday and Thursday 18:00 - 19:30

This course aims at enhancing their speaking skill to present personal narratives and discuss topics on Chinese culture, such as Chinese holidays, habits and free time, etc. The final goal aims to pass HSK 3 exam.

Cost: 200 euro / 48 hours (twice per week)

Level 3: Monday and Wednesday 18:00 - 19:30

This course is designed to help refine the presentation skills, to help make a smooth transition between colloquial Chinese and writing Chinese. Discussion, debate, and presentation are important components of the class. The final goal aims to pass HSK 4 exam.

Cost: 200 euro / 48 hours (twice per week)


Business Chinese course:

This course is ideal for professionals in the international business environment and those who are planning to reside in China. Our teaching team can deliver courses at any level from elementary to advanced, at a venue of your choice. We provide language training on specific subjects such as finance, marketing and sales negotiation, all of which will be invaluable if you need to use Mandarin for business purposes. We can also run Business Chinese classes at our premises or yours, tailored to your needs.

Time: Tuesday-Thursday 16:00-19:30

Location: Confucius Institute in Bratislava

Cost: 220 euro / 48 hours (twice per week) 

Chinese Brush Painting course

This course would suit students learning about Chinese culture and people with an interest in Chinese art and culture. A practical introduction to the art of Chinese painting, using a writing brush. Students will be introduced to the care and use of writing brushes and other materials. They will learn the basics of brush techniques for painting and will gain practice in painting the “impressionistic” (Xieyi) style. A range of important themes will be covered, such as birds, flowers, and landscapes. No knowledge of Chinese or previous experience in Chinese painting is necessary.

Time: Tuesday 16:30-18:00

Location: Confucius Institute in Bratislava

Cost: 50 euro / once per week
